Psssssst!

I have a secret.  That's why I'm whispering.  I'm writing in a small italic font, because that's how you whisper in print.  Anyway, back to my secret (and I'm warning you, I will deny this if you ever mention it in public) I'm feeling like.......the thing is........it's just that........{sigh}.......OK, here it is: I'm getting the teensiest, tiniest, itty-bittiest tired of summer.  It's becoming slightly annoying to dab my sweaty face seven times with a towel before applying my makeup in the morning.  The mosquitoes are eating me alive.  Everything is sticky, and the air at night is more hot and dead than the entire Cullen family put together.

There I said it.  But I'm warning you: DO NOT TELL A SOUL!

So ready for fall, so ready. But don't worry, I won't tell anyone your secret, even though I am very openly feeling the same way.

I hate hot weather.

I am a hot mama with my own personal power surges, and summer doubles my discomfort. I would love to live in a dry climate with temperatures that never go above 70 or below 20. Is there such a place? (Just whisper the answer.)

I have to agree with you- it is hot and humid where you are. A little cool off will be nice....it's coming and so are the fall leaves! Lucky girl!

Tiffany, I also discovered your blog through Kim. I was so happy to find such a treasure! I read lots and lots of past posts and ran into a picture of Janet and Matt. How do you know that darling family?! My son, Nick, plays soccer with little Matt. He is my son's nemesis. He's WAY too good on the field. I was introduced to Janet through a common friend. I've loved her from the day we met.

Thank you for entertaining us through your terrific blog.

I got snowed on....repeat....SNOWED ON at Trial Lake last weekend, missy. Believe you me, this blasted, nasty warm weather is on its way out of here in a jiffy! Yes, if I were a Super Hero, I would be Mr. Freeze in all his cold majestic glory. Long live WINTER!!!

Actually the Cullens are COLD and dead, but I still love the imagery! (I feel like such a pooper bringing that to your attention, I promise once my writing group gets up and going I'll refrain from comments like that...)

I would never admit that I am tired of summer, but I have been extra sweaty lately (I'll deny it if you tell anyone)
